Piadina
Piadina is an old rustic delicacy first conceived in 1371. It is made with white or whole wheat flour,olive oil, salt and milk. Piadinas are typically filled with a variety of cheeses, meats, poultry, cold cuts and vegetables. It can also be served sweet with fillings such as jam or Nutella. Piadina has even found its way to space, eaten by Russian astronauts as part of a healthy Mediterranean diet experiment on the International Space Station!
